An entity interested in membership in the Polish Union of Cosmetics Industry can become either an ordinary member or an associated member.
The difference in the rights of the two types of Union’s members concerns their election rights. Ordinary members have the full (unlimited) right to elect all Union’s bodies, and to be elected to them – while associated members have the right to elect Supervisory Board members, but cannot be elected to the Supervisory Board or to the Management Board of the Union.
The entity needs to meet the formal requirements specified in the Union’s Statute, to acquaint itself with and accept the Ethical Code provisions, and to fill in a membership declaration.
A candidate entity is admitted as a Union Member based on the Management Board decision, made within 1 month from the application submission date.
