Agnieszka Gościniewicz - patient of the More Beautiful Life Foundation

I am an ordinary woman who for many, many years led a normal life. Work, home, two children and never enough time for myself. I never thought that I would get cancer and that it would change my life so much. Unfortunately, a parasite got into my well-organised world. I have been saying for some time that if a person stands on the edge of life and manages to get off that edge on the right side, life will be completely different. I went back to running because it was my true passion before I got ill. I also went back to walking in the mountains, high mountains, I went back to sailing, to traveling, I started diving, climbing rocks. Over these last few years, together with my parasite, I did a lot of interesting and amazing things. Even during the treatment, I promised myself that if I dealt with my parasite at least partially, I would have to get something good out of it, not only for myself, but also for others. First of all, I started saying aloud that I am oncological and that the parasite does not stop me from doing anything. If I can make even one ill person realise that cancer is not a death sentence, that it is possible to live with it actively and passionately - this is something I want to do for the rest of my life.
